Besides border changes population percentages were affected by emigration and forced population transfers, though of lesser scale than OTL post-WWII relocations. For example ITTL only about two fifth of Poles were relocated from Eastern Borderlands/Kresy to post-war Poland. This map also assumes German expulsion from Danzig/Gdańsk and limited population exchange Silesia and East Prussia as well as significant Jewish emigration to Israel. Also due to higher national awareness, Ukrainians were much less susceptible to prolonged Polonization than Belarusians.

Note that this map bears no relation to post-WWII demographics in our timeline.
